From 23 March 2026, Smart Parkering AB will be responsible for parking at Akademiska Hus parking spaces in Gävle. Parking is managed digitally via the SmartPark app or text message. Employees of Akademiska Hus customers can purchase digital parking permits with a reduced rate via a code provided by their own business. Visitors and students park by purchasing a ticket per hour or day in the app or via text message.

How much does it cost to park?
The following prices apply from March 23, 2026 at Akademiska Hus parking spaces in Gävle: (same prices as before)
- Visitors and students every day 05–24: 5 SEK per hour (one-time parking), parking prohibited at other times.
- Night ticket 00–05: 15 SEK, NB! only in signposted areas. Must be paid together with a 30-day ticket.
- Employees of Akademiska Hus customers: 5 SEK per hour or 10 SEK per day (05–24) with a reduced rate.
- 30-day ticket (05–24): SEK 175, shown in the SmartPark app.

How do employees get a reduced rate?
Digital parking permits are purchased via Smart Parkering using a code provided by the respective business. The code is only valid for employees of Akademiska Hus customers.
